For Those Who Take Shopping Seriously

For Those Who Take Shopping Seriously

Tysons Corner Center is where real shopping happens, the kind of day that takes, well, all day.  It’s one of the United States’ largest shopping malls, anchored by Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and Macy’s. Find more than 300 shops and services inside, from the first Apple Store in the country, to American Girl, to Lacoste and Psycho Bunny. Give your legs a break in the outdoor plaza. From here, move on to Tysons Galleria, across Route 123, with more than 100 upscale stores, and The Shops at Fairfax Square.

For Culture Seekers

Stick around The Watermark and Capital One Center for tons of events, musical performances and theatre throughout the year.  Cinephiles love Showplace ICON Cinema with its heated seats, cocktail menus, and gourmet popcorn. Or, hit up 1st Stage, a not-for-profit Helen Hayes Award-winning theater, or live music and other events at The PARC at Tysons, a fun outdoor space. If you’re willing to grab an Uber, you can get a ride to neighboring Vienna, home to Wolf Trap, the country’s only national park dedicated to the performing arts.

For Foodies

After shopping, or before a show at Capital One Center, take advantage of the burgeoning culinary scene in Tysons. There’s just about every type of cuisine you could want, from the upscale The Palm steakhouse to Mediterranean specialties at Agora. For better, smarter, healthier food, look to Founding Farmers, or go all in on the meat at Fogo de Chao. More casual outlets within the Tysons Corner Center mall are just what you need on the go, from Earls Kitchen + Bar to Barrel & Bushel.
